* Going through divorce in the middle of severe kratom suffering
* Checking myself in detox and 30 days of treatment
* Relapsing the next day

* At one point, hiring a sober companion to follow me from work to home because I literally couldn't stop
* Experience with a number of different meds to get off
* Being in active recovery

* Strong views after 2 years of active participation and serving as in admin in rooms within our growing but still very immature Kratom recovery community
* Another relapse or two
* Finding out my testosterone is at scary low levels
